If I were a school principal or teacher again, I would want some sort of defensive weapon to protect my kids, staff and myself. The only people who follow the law in "No Guns"zones are the law abiding citizens...the killers never do.
Concerning armed security in schools: This is nothing new; it has been a practice for decades. A program to have armed guns in schools started under G. W. and has been continued by Obama This federal program has funded armed guards and other security technologies that has thus far served nearly 30,00 schools.
If you note the profiles of the mass killers and whom they attack seldom is it inner city kids in an inner school. What does that tell us?
Since the 1960's violent crimes have gone down; insidiously some researchers conclude this a direct correlation of putting Planned Parenthood Centers in inner city areas. Is this the answer to mass killers? But most don't come from inner cities?
So where are these mass killers coming from? Mostly from middle class areas? Most are socially isolated? Most are mentally ill? So are guns the problem? Or, are other factors more important to address first? Just think about.
