Steve Stockman, R-Friendswood, repeated his calls for the possible impeachment of Barack Obama if the president pushes for gun control legislation — and implied his invoking the Newtown victims was comparable to Saddam Hussein's use of children as human shields.

Stockman brings the sort of of embarrassment to Texas statesmanship that makes one pine for English as the official language. What does this quote even mean?
"It breaches his authority into legislation which impedes on the Constitution." The syntax is there, but did anyone notice *the words don't make any sense*.
And it is pure dee delusion to assert, as Stockman does in this interview, that the Administration wants "to abrogate the Constitution." Stockman needs to expend a little more effort at book larnin' and thankin' before he engages his mouth.

I am convinced these white minority TEA-types were and still are nasally in their whining over their loss to the first black president. Even McCain has turned out to be a 180-er on many issues and has lost any credibility once had. All twelve TEA-Republican's mentioned have but one plan in mind - "Do nothing!"

What part of "Well regulated militia" do so many people miss in their personal interpretations of the 2nd Amendment? I see the new level of discourse for Conservatives is not to work through the three branches of the Federal Government and their checks and balances, but to go straight to threats of Impeachment. Here's a good reason for having a gun for protection....a few days ago a couple of illegal aliens with 300 lbs. of marijuana crashed their stolen car on a rural road. Of course, they took off running up the road toward a woman who was out of her car, picking up her mail at a cluster box. She saw them coming, stepped back to her car and pulled out her hand gun and pointed it at them, fearing they were coming to take her vehicle. They ran off in another direction and were shortly picked up by the Border Patrol!! Good for her and, as a side note, just in case you think the border is "as safe as it's ever been" according to our esteemed "head" of the DHS, IT ISN'T !!!
