College Addresses Growing Need for Mental Health Services
Little makes Dr. Norma Ngo, the director of Counseling and Psychological Services at the University of Houston, sadder than hearing a student say, ‘‘I never even knew you guys existed.”

Yes. UTs counseling service really let me down. Treated me like a #, no follow through nothing no "check up". Too many students not enough real resources.

Texas remains stingy regarding all health services, whether for women's annual PAP smears or psychiatric care. And reading the Bible is more likely to drive people crazy than help in any regard.
