Cecil Bell Jr. is a sixth-generation Texan who works in construction, specializing in water and wastewater facilities. He also has several cattle ranches and is a deacon at the Magnolia Church of Christ. The Magnolia resident ran unopposed in the general election after winning the GOP primary. He was endorsed by the Texas Alliance for Life and multiple professional associations. He says he will “carry/support a constitutional amendment banning any foreign law in Texas.”

I have little faith in man kind. We now get to watch America go down the tubes and ready for bankrupt nation dollar failure and we became a third world nation. Folks prepare for the worst now.

From the listing in each short bio, I find the following in order for each party: For the Republicans: government waste, taxes, border secruity/immigration, jobs, abortion, decreasing business regulation, and local control of education. For Democrats: education/ed funding, rural/ag issues, jobs, and tuition, healthcare, infastructure and water are equal.
In my mind, there is a telling difference in the approach to our problems in TX. We know who is in charge and who is setting the agenda. We'll see if any of our problems get dealt with effectively.
I got a good laugh out of Cecil Bell wanting no foreign laws in Texas. That is certainly a major issue he needs to work on. At least, that might keep him from messing up something else.
