Dewhurst did the same for people with business before the Legislature. Those two camps can get a head start on building their relationships.

As Lt. Governor last year, Dewhurst had the opportunity to join with the majority of the Texas Legislature who were prepared to vote on a bill that would have prohibited TSA genital-type searches in Texas airports. Unfortunately, when the same federal agency that brought us Fast and Furious called him up and threatened him with a blockade of Texas airspace, he ran around the Texas Capitol advising its members to not take the matter up for a vote. He was terrified. Now we have TSA on the highways, at football games, next at the senior prom (I guess they can do the thong check while they're at it)? I am not sure if he is even a native Texan. I hope not. We will see if money alone is able to rehabilitate his reputation. That is what this article should be about.

David Dewhurst may still get to change the mix if the people of Texas change the mix in Austin. Texas needs more Democrats who will change the mentality in Austin for the insured's instead of the insurance companies. Dewhurst's stinging loss to Canadian born Ted Cruz should get the juices of the Democrats flowing and they should vote in Democratic representation. Those are my thoughts and I approved of this message.

Voucher schools turn out people who can barely read and write (see first commenter). The mission of Dan Patrick and other GOP stalwarts is to destroy the public school system and use those monies to fund religious schools.
