In Ad, Wendy Davis Accuses Mark Shelton of Lying
State Sen. Wendy Davis, D-Fort Worth, accuses state Rep. Mark Shelton, R-Fort Worth, of deceiving voters in her latest television ad in the SD-10 race.
In the ad, Davis' campaign cites reports from North Texas news outlets questioning the accuracy of a Shelton ad released this month that charged Davis with supporting higher taxes and having questionable ethics.
The ad began airing Friday in the Fort Worth area, according to Davis' campaign.

How come we don't get to see the Mark Shelton ad so we can see what she is talking about? Your liberal bias is showing again today.

Hey Mac, they showed that ad last week. Apparently the Texas Tribune had a conservative bias last week when they showed it. It's called balance. Somewhere there is a grassy knoll calling your name near a school book depository building.

Folks do your own check on this Wendy cindy is lying and she support Obama so that should be enough proof who is lying. Democrats will say and do anything to win they can not run on there record. Remember Wendy cindy is one of the democrats to slow down voter ID law from going forward after the people voted it into law.

The Star-Telagram's Gordon Dickson detailed the multiple conflicts and Ms. Davis involvement under the title "Cozy Relationships" in an October 2011 investigative piece about corruption at the NTTA.
Ms. Davis, a lawyer with Cantey Hanger, set up a minority law firm, Newby Davis, to qualify for minority contracts (collecting scofflaw tolls and the higher penalties she pushed as senator) not available to Cantey Hanger. A sweet scam to get rich by gaming the system.
Endorsing corruption will not help build the stong democratic party we need in Texas. The TT is learning that journalists become publicists when they ignore the overt corruption in either party.

Has anyone stopped to see which candidates across the state may even have a fighting chance of getting anything done this session. When you look at the budget issue, the transportation funding issues, the education funding issues, the water funding and supply problems, and the fact that anything coming from the fed level will die no mater who wins. Does any of the diversions help answer that questions. In hearing from elected officials and people who have worked in the system for years, these problems combine with the largest freshman and sophomore class to arrive in Austin will create a tremendous void if leadership does not arrive on the scene.
And not to be cruel, but the list of elected officials that built their business around laws that are new and just introduced in not new to this world. And at that goes most people who are successful spend a lot of time keeping track of the rules and make sure they apply them as soon as possible. I have seen some laws get adopted and not be used for 6 and 7 years after they were introduced, costing tax payers a fortune.
All this was said to say this, "find the leaders and then stay on top of them to do what is needed".
