John Courage: The TT Interview
If John Courage, the underdog Democratic candidate for Senate District 25, has one message for voters, he said it is this: "Pay attention to people who are part of your community. Hear what they have to say, and understand what they want to do for you before you start talking with strangers."
That's a dig on his opponent, Republican Donna Campbell, an emergency room physician who surprised political observers by winning a three-way primary race that included 20-year incumbent Sen. Jeff Wentworth and former Railroad Commissioner Elizabeth Ames Jones.
It has been roughly one year since Campbell started renting ...

The most tragic part of all this election is that Mitt embraces ignorance. He takes advantage of Ignorance and encourages and exploits the fools.
And I am sorry if anyone is offended but some people are just plain ignorant. Not just ill informed but downright ignorant. The have abrogated all thinking to their church elders and Faux News.
Faux is perhaps the single worst thing to happen to American journalism in our history. They lie and say what the ignorant who watch them want to hear. Not the truth but rather irrational thought and irrational beliefs.
I've never seen anything like this in all my years. I remember once upon a time when you could pretty much have a rational conversation with a conservative. The OLD style conservatives. The ones they have now have been led down the garden path of pure hate, anger, bigotry and once again, ignorance.
Faux is to be blamed for the most part but the religious clerics where they lives have just as great a burden to bear in sowing the seeds of this hateful ignorance.
Faux has abused the 1st Amendment beyond all rational thought.
That they actually went to court and won the right to lie to their views as a protected 1st Amendment right is beyond the pale. That the Court went along with it is beyond human understanding.
The Court ruled that it is not Fox's legal obligation to tell the truth but rather it is up to the viewer to discern the truth.
And we are seeing the results of that all throughout this country. Fox has never come out and said. Stop it, he's a Christian. Instead they propagate lies and you would think they should be ashamed but they have no shame

Campbell does not reflect my values and plenty of women in Texas would agree with me. We want to go forward and be civilized, not backward and rigid.

anyone who heard Donna Campbell speak during her losing campaign against Lloyd Doggett will not forget. If she expects voters to vote for her, wouldn't it be wise for her to answer their questions? And let them choose between the two candidates by accepting a debate with John Courage?
