Supporters Blast Treatment of Paul at GOP Convention
TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa is the end of the road for Ron Paul’s presidential hopes, but his die-hard supporters aren’t going quietly into the night.
They are making one last stink here, complaining to anyone who will listen that the Texas congressman got a raw deal from the managers of the Republican National Convention.
It’s not exactly the image of unity and common purpose Mitt Romney was hoping to project at the convention, which is set to have its full slate of speakers take the stage starting Tuesday after most of Monday's events were rescheduled because of ...

Shame on the establishment Republicans!! THIS is why a third party will (and must) rise!!

To be honest, some of this they brought on themselves, using some very underhanded tactics to acquire delegates that were supposed to be slated for other candidates. I'm not feeling all that boo hoo for Paul or his delegates.

There were no underhanded tactics by the Paul delegates. They followed the rules. The GOP and establishment didn't. Video proof of all of this!

ALL delegates are unbound per rule 38. RNC lawyer even confirmed this in 2008 when McCain delegate didn't want to vote or Romney. That was upheld.

The voting that takes place during primaries is a straw poll. An opinion poll. It has nothing to do with delegates unless you listen/watch mainstream media

Jason, just because you don't think it was underhanded doesn't mean it wasn't. And not everything is a straw poll. Straw polls are straw polls, not the rest. The Paul camp brought this on themselves.

Could it be that Ron Paul has, himself, treated Republicans and the Party Platform "horribly?!"

The odd comments, even here, of Rep Paul's supporters is a clear demonstration that they cannot comprehend politics. It will be wonderful when we don't have to deal with the Representative or his crazed minions

Lauro.... Ron Paul didn't "PLAY THE GAME" like the Repub establishment WANTED him too, he represents a split from the "status quo" and he played fair UNTIL reallizing he was getting screwed. WITHOUT the Ron Paul nation, Romney will lose. His ilk had better BE CAREFUL in Tampa with them

If by underhanded you mean getting motivated people out to conventions to support your efforts where REAL party business is handled, then yes, I guess those are some sneaky underhanded Ron Paul people. But then again, I thought that was the point. To get people involved and motivated? No? My bad, let's just go along with the establishment cause Rey know better, right?
