Dewhurst and Cruz are both trying to out-conservative each other.

disposed to preserve existing conditions, institutions, etc., or to restore traditional ones, and to limit change.
Say it with me. Existing conditions mean nothing will change under the conservative banner and things will continue to erode into oblivion under this mantra. No one really cares about suits won or lost by Cruz. Texas' economy is not Dewhurst's doings, but the doing of the people living in this conservative state. How dare they attempt to take credit. Interesting that Cruz wants to get rid of Dewhurst and vice-versa. This convoluted track meet between the two factions of the TEA-Republican has proven the disruption of politics in Texas. And Texas' "Deer in the head lights" governor sides with Republican against TEA proves the fractured fracas. Every Democrat should take advantage and vote in Democrats across Texas!
