I at least appreciate his attempt. But doubt seriously he's really interested in Texas School children ....his team is more about blaming teachers

I have heard him speak in a Save Texas Schools forum along with Rep. Donna Howard and he was very supportive. He has had an uphill battle against his fellow Republicans about school funding and I appreciate that although I do not agree with everything he believes about school funding, he is at least aware that there is a crisis.

It is time to launch Republican politics accountability. The party that has made "the rules don't apply to us" and "no accountability" so rampant is claiming it is going to hold others accountable.
Wasn't it Republicans campaigning getting rid of real education and phony metrics used for lavish bonuses for CEO's? Dumb and dumber was their idea of educational policies.

Kudos to you Representative Aycock. While a lot of people want to talk about accountability and the challenges faced by our schools, you are taking an active role in looking at the issue in an in-depth way. I only hope you and your colleagues will be able to develop a way to 1) reduce the mandates on our schools and 2) provide true accountability that is deeper than 1 adjective for an entire school district.
