How do you not see an appreciable difference between this session and last session? This session is going to have to include not only the existing structural deficit, but also the six-month carryover deficit that the Legislature failed to address in 2011.
On paper Perry has always been good, but it doesn't take a Rice grad (Evan) to know going into this that he was not ready for prime time. He performed exactly to the level most Texans expected.
