In some areas of South Texas aquifers have been contaminated with uranium, and are not supposed to be used for human consumption. I've often wondered what effect this uranium has upon beefsteaks from cattle drinking this water.
I know that in the area around Riviera, Texas the public water supply corporation notified users on their system not to consume their water. One wonders how many people are consuming water from private water wells drilled in these uranium-contaminated aquifers.
Perchance, is this high liver cancer rate attributable in some fashion to the consumption of uranium-contaminated water?
