Do you think her position coincides with her "late-in-life" desire to run for higher office? Dis-as-ter!

it seems like it's more and more common for "public servants" these days to be more willing to change positions the higher the office they are moving up to (mccain retracting his fallwell statement, perry switching from d to r, combs switching from pro-choice to pro life). to me, this begs the question "is there anything you are NOT willing to do or say to get elected to higher office. because it seems to me that a lot of politicians are willing to say or do anything to anyone to get elected to higher office. not impressive.

Crisis pregnancy centers really are the ideal places for pregnant women to get their family planning services.

Bryan, damn, that is some razor sharp wit! I almost thought you actually meant that. :-)

So "late-in-life" is what you're calling "pre-Lt Gov GOP primary"?

@Genevieve -- EXACTLY what I was thinking and going to post!

It's true, there really isn't anything they are NOT willing to do or say to get elected to higher office. Not only NOT impressive, but rather pathetic. But isn't it nice for her that SHE had a choice when it mattered.
Another hypocrite. Yawn.

Susan Combs needs to understand what is the cause of this crisis of unwanted child birth. The best way to deal with this issue is through education at home and our schools. This issue is the lack of knowledge about self responsibility, they have sex without thinking about the consequence.
We need to teach people that they are responsible for their actions, and the solution it is not to kill a baby that is a product of their actions; and they should not depend on the government or family to take responsibility for their action.
This country become what is today because the family and the government foster irresponsibility; we have rights but not responsibility, we expect for others to deal and resolve our problems.

She never answered your direct questions on this topic...
Her donations to a pregnancy counceling service does not provide access to women's medical services and birth control to PREVENT unwanted pregnancies...
It's the Catholic Church that is promoting the average uneducated Guatemalan girl here in the US to produce countless children that she cannot feed, cloth or raise without foodstamps, WIC, Medicaid, and Free Breakfast&Lunches etc... Texas already has to pay for 50% of the births here in our state.
Shall we raise them for her too or give her access to birth control?
