Hey for shitty parks!

So what's new? He started cutting back on state park funding years ago. Now he's closing all of the roadside parks...

This piece would have been more acurate if it provided a FULL accounting of funding for State Parks if the writer would have added how much revenue over the past, say 10 years, was collected from fishing/hunting licence fees, park fees etc. - and what percentage was pulled out by Gov. Perry to fund OTHER agendas EXECPT the Parks & Wildlife agency. Perry has used the Parks revenue stream for EVERYTHING but the Parks and forgoing rebuilding them after Hurricane Rita in East Texas. Let's see that math added to this report to show just ONE of the "bait and switch" schemes Perry has pulled and then tried to pass off as if this agency isn't self funding and "needs budget cuts".
