Thing is with the legislators that all these bills that get killed are a waste of time . When are we going to elect people that write fair bills that influence and inspire people ? Good legislators with good legislation for the people !!!!

HB 660, the brewpub sales to customers bill, was killed by the mega monster brewers, just like HB 602 the microbrewers on-site sales bill. Lotsa Budweiser and their distributors' $$$ lubed legislative prostitutes like Dewhurst and Whitmire. Texans have the best Lege that money can buy!

The Senate is a gutless wonder. Quit kissing all those illegal behinds and pass the HB12 Sanctuary City bill in special session. Quit making Texas a laughing stock in America. Not long ago, one could be proud to say they were a Texan, our state government is making that hard these days. Can see the headlines now: TEXAS welcomes all illegal aliens with open arms, come on over for free goodies.

Texas has been gladly welcoming illegal aliens for 150 years. As long as they knew their place, as long as they mowed our lawns and cleaned our toilets and picked our crops without complaining about the lousy pay, as long as they didn't rock the boat, we Anglos were happy to have them. So why this big uproar now? It reeks of hypocrisy.
