Video: Alex Jones Storms the Texas Capitol
Notorious radio host and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones led a raucous protest at the Capitol Wednesday over the Legislature's failure to pass a bill criminalizing invasive airport pat downs. "Every one of [those senators] is an enemy of the Republic and the Republic of Texas!" he bellowed.

I was at one time "asleep" to what has been going on in our country and abroad untill i began to actually research the money topics that Alex Jones discusses. Yes, he is loud. Yes, he may seem obnoctious. But, he is also correct. Look around you. Stop watching Fox, CNN and the sorts alike and do your homework. Why do you label those who speek up for our freedom and civil liberties "conspiracy theorists"? Especially when proof of the outcomes to these "conspiracies" can and has been presented and is staring you in the face!!! Irac. Lybia. Now Pakistan!!! It's all been fortold and coming to light now! Is it really a conspiracy to not want to be fondled or irradiated just to fly? Give me a break. Obviousely your not American anymore unless you like being fondled by a stranger who doesn't change their gloves or want to be a part in starting WWIII.

Sorry. That was supposed to read "many topics" in the second line.

How about the Senators grow some __ and call the feds on their threat. Then just sit back and let it happen, what will happen next if the bill gets signed into law by the gov. will be when the feds stop just 1 flight you will see millions of out of work lawyers rise up flip through the already well settled American Jurisprudence on this topic and find they have a slam dunk winning case, then they will bring their case to the courts and the courts will be forced to rule with the standard which will be in favor of the RIGHT TO TRAVEL. yes i said it, and so did the supreme court in years past, TRAVEL IS A RIGHT NOT A PRIVLEDGE WHICH CAN BE PERMITED OR PROHBITED AT WILL. if you dont belive me just go to your court house and type RIGHT TO TRAVEL in their computer system or look up the book Words and phrases by westlaw and type that in, hell you can even type it in on the net and find plenty of very public cases like Thompsons v. Smith , chicago motor coach v. chicago and others concerning this case

@drew-
good try there. true, cases like Saenz and Thompson do protect the right to interstate travel, but shutting down the airports wouldn't deny anyone's ability to travel between the states - cars, trains, and buses all still exist.

It is well established in constitutional law that the existence of an alternative does not justify the violation of any other right. that legal theory has already been tested and proven false.
Irrespective of this what would you say in regards to the state of Hawaii, Flights are the only way to and from the mainland. Boats are not only less safe they are mostly reserved for cargo. even intrastate travel from one island to the next is done via planes to avoid from cross contamination of invasive species.
but like i said that theory has already been tested in the courts MANY MANY TIMES.
