If the ultimate goal for this legislature is to save the taxpayer’s money, I have the solution. Let’s start with the new American model for saving money by OUTSOURCING. We can start by firing all the politicians and move the Capitol of Texas to India. We can replace the Governor with a professional CEO. We can replace the legislature with a corporate board of directors. We will let the CEO and board of directors have stock options in the State of Texas (This should help motivate them to save money). We can fire all state employees and go to the local day labor site to hire low wage migrant workers to be employed as DPS Troopers, teachers, social workers, and correctional officers.
Or maybe we can hire a third world government to run Texas. Maybe the Mexican Government can help us out, after all they run their government cheaper. Cheaper is better right???? Look how well the Mexican Government is handling the drug war, education, and public health care. Remember cheaper is better, that is what the taxpayers want. We can even find cheaper government operators than Mexico. We should seek advisement from counties like Rwanda, Somalia, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Burundi, and Zimbabwe. These countries run very cheap governments. Let’s save Texans money and make this a Third World Country, then we will all be all happy. FYI there is no taxes in Somelia, maybe we can seek advice from them. I can see free enterprise is just flocking there to invest.
Maybe all these Tea-baggers can move to Somelia where there is no taxes. Crazy ideology is killing this great state. My advice to the State Legislature and Governor is “Don’t Mess With Texas.” If you want lower taxes than move to the Third World.
