2010: Hopson's BFF

Republican Brian Walker, who lost a close race to Democrat Chuck Hopson in 2008, endorsed Hopson's reelection bid next year — now that Hopson has switched to the GOP.
Walker was out of the running this year, having moved from the East Texas district to Fort Worth to practice law. But if he could still vote in HD-11, he says, he'd vote for Hopson.
Hopson beat Walker last year, after a recount, by 120 votes.
Hopson also will keep the endorsement of Texans for Lawsuit Reform, a tort reform group that supported him as a Democrat.
